Why use a rope scrape, and why ours?...
Rope scrapes are no secret. They have been proven to work extremely well for a long time by hunters across the country. Knowing this, we tested it ourselves, using different kinds of ropes and methods until finally landing on 3/4" NATU™ rope as the absolute best choice. It is a soft blend that absorbs and holds scent for a long time, while still being durable and easy to work with. Most other options on the market get it WRONG, using Hemp, Jute, Manilla or other materials that have a strong and undesired odor from either the inherent qualities of the material or cheap manufacturing processes. Why use a rope that has a competing odor profile, or even an unpleasant stench? Although those options do sometimes work, our own testing has shown a noticeable difference in the effectiveness of our ropes against those available elsewhere. Our rope comes completely scent free, only holding the scent you want to add and the scent deer naturally leave behind when they utilize it! Every part of this system was intensely designed for whitetails!
How to cut rope to create 2 separate ropes:
1. Zip tie the rope tightly in the middle. This will become the new top synch of the first rope.
2. Zip tie the rope again tightly, about 6-7 inches forward of the step 1 zip tie. This allows the second rope you’re creating to unravel only up to desired amount.
3. Cut the rope close (about 1cm) to the the zip tie in the middle, but on the side between it and the step 2 zip tie.
4. Unravel the bottom by shaking/beating it. You're all done!
